Rotary District 7930 (eastern Massachusetts & southern New Hampshire) held its 9th Annual Polar Plunge to Eradicate Polio on February 9, 2019. We plunged into the frigid waters of the Atlantic Ocean at Long Beach in Gloucester at 11am.

Please join us this upcoming Sunday November 6th, 1:00pm at the front field of the Arlington High School for a public dedication ceremony for our 2016 Flags for Heroes, Arlington Rotary's first annual event celebrating patriotism and our local heroes past and present. 
This year's event is dedicated to Kenneth J. Simmons for his service to his country and the Arlington Rotary Club and will feature various speakers including Arlington Rotarian Bill Cronin as well as some songs by John Flood. 
Funds raised will go to several local projects including support of the Kenneth J Simmons Memorial Rotary Scholarship.

***UPDATE Due to the severe record breaking winter weather we have been experiencing this year the Polar Plunge has been rescheduled for Saturday March 7th. Fortunately this has created an opportunity to continue to raise additional funds for our fight to eradicate Polio.

Our speaker for Wednesday October 15th was Captain Armida Harper of the Salvation Army. Captain Armida joined us give Arlington Rotary to talk about the history of the Salvation Army and their work and support of the Arlington community.

Wednesday Sept. 23rd our club welcomed Derek Curran, Executive Director of the Arlington Boys & Girls club as our guest speaker. Derek joined us for our regular breakfast meeting to talk about the many great activities and programs offered at the Boys & Girls Club, as well as the clubs plans for the future.
