The Cause
Our Annual "Polar Dip" helps raise awareness and funds to eradicate polio. Our goal of ridding the world of this disease is closer than ever.
Arlington Rotary has been committed to this cause for over 35 years. In 2021 our club had its first Polar Dip and has raised over $10,000 which is generously matched by The Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, tripling the impact to over $30,000 raised.

Bill Hayner
Bill has been raising money for Polio since he joined Rotary in 2013. When the Rotary district event was cancelled due to COVID in 2020 Bill led the club to create the Polar Dip.
